WHAT IS NONI JUICE?

Strictly speaking NONI juice, is not a fruit juice. Traditionally, it is a “remedy” which has existed since ancient times. It has a naturally bitter taste, like all other remedies and natural plant products. As such, NONI juice is very powerful and cannot be used like a regular fruit juice. However, legislation currently in force, does not authorize us to sell it under its true identity and therefore it is distributed with a “dietary supplement” labeling. The daily dose is limited by the French FDA (AFSSA) within France to 30ml per day.

IF IT IS NOT A REGULAR “FRUIT JUICE" HOW TO DRINK NONI JUICE?

NONI juice is preferably taken 100% PURE, 30 ml per day, in the morning, before breakfast. Its natural bitter taste and strong odor, diminish considerably with refrigeration. However, if you want to add occasionally a fruit juice, it is preferable to choose an unsweetened juice to preserve the natural benefits of the NONI, without compromising its integrity. Pure, natural pineapple juice without added sugar is a delicious, ideal and perfectly suitable choice because of similar benefits.

WHY DO SOME NONI JUICES HAVE A DIFFERENT TASTE?

A good 100% PURE authentic NONI juice must have a liquid consistency, a light brown color, and a naturally bitter taste which rapidly disappears and does not linger “in the mouth”. However, it must not be “undrinkable”. If the juice is thick or if there is a rather pleasant sweetened taste it probably means that it has been mixed copiously with other useless ingredients. This is then not a true NONI juice and will be less effective. If it is undrinkable, either as a result of its bitterness which necessitates a rinse of the mouth, or as a result of oxidation (a very dark color), it is a juice which is not fresh or which has undergone several transformations including pasteurization. It is energetically “flat (without little effectiveness).

CAN I DRINK NONI JUICE WHILE I AM PREGNANT?

Although NONI juice is of 100% natural vegetable origin, it is important to seek the advice of your health adviser before drinking the juice during your pregnancy.

DOES NONI JUICE CAUSE ALLERGIES?

The 100% PURE NONI juice has existed since ancient times. It has now been marketed for at least 14 years throughout the world and more recently in Europe. There are no known allergies to the NONI juice. Allergies, often linked to the immune system, are in general still poorly understood. They can cause unforeseeable reactions. Any product, even a natural one can trigger them. Generally, it is enough to stop or to avoid taking the food in question.

However, if the amounts of NONI juice are excessive (generally more than the recommended 30ml) the body can show a variation of reactions such as headaches, diarrhea, etc …They are not always allergies strictly speaking and one must simply return to the recommended dosage. If the symptoms persist it is imperative to stop taking the NONI juice immediately and consult a health adviser.

DOES THE NONI PRESENT ANY COUNTER INDICATIONS?

On the other hand, in certain cases, fortunately very rare, it seems that the NONI juice can present counter-indications, more specifically in the event of kidney insufficiency or in the case of certain liver problems and for individuals who cannot tolerate significant amounts of potassium.

The most reliable course of action is to ask for a copy of the nutritional analysis which can guide you to verify if certain elements present in the NONI juice can harm your present state of health. It is imperative to obtain the opinion of your health adviser if you have the slightest doubt and if you suffer from the above problems. Remember that the NONI juice is not a medicine and is not a means of treating serious or benign diseases.

CAN ONE GIVE NONI JUICE TO CHILDREN?

Yes, but in very small amounts, to ensure that the child does not have any abnormal reactions. It is preferable to start by mixing it with unsweetened fruit juice and then increase the proportion of NONI juice little by little.

CAN ONE GIVE NONI JUICE TO ANIMALS?

Yes, absolutely if your animal will tolerate its bitter taste and strong odor, in which case it is recommended to administer it directly into the mouth with a dropper. It is important to regulate the amount given according to the weight and size of the animal (cat, dog, bird, etc) and watch for any sign such as diarrhea which could signify that the dosage is too important.

IS THERE A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TAHITI NONI JUICE AND THE OTHERS?

Strictly speaking there is no difference directly relating to the benefits. The difference appears in connection with the taste and the color, according to whether the fruits come from Tahiti, Hawaii, or Costa Rica. To illustrate this difference take the example of oranges. The Spanish oranges are different to those of Morocco or Israel. The response is that they are all oranges, rich in vitamin C. The only difference would be in the sugar and juice content which depends mainly on the climate and the soil. However – the color of the NONI juice must be clear and not dark and the naturally strong taste must not render the juice “undrinkable”.
