According to the regulations set forth in the “Appellation d'Origine decree” (Guarantee of Origin), Monoi de Tahiti is obtained by the maceration of at least ten Tiare flowers (Gardenia Tahitensis) per liter of refined Tahitian copra oil (Cocos Nucifera). The oil obtained is then purified by filtration. It is the magical union of these two indigenous ingredients and the beneficial applications of their natural properties, without any adulteration, which gives Monoi de Tahiti its important place in today's beauty and hair care.
